Peeg, downclock the GPU and see if that fixes the problem. 18A at 12v is only 216 watts, which is about what the GPU pulls.I think your GPU is running out off juice.
Edit:
Clarification: I'm not disagreeing with stinger, whether the GPU is running out of juice orthe PSU is shutting down due to an over current situation, it's a PSU problem.
From the review of your card: The card requires a 6-pin and 8-pin PCI-Express power connector. This configuration is good for up to 300 W of power draw.

i down clocked it to 850 mhz core and i think problem went away, I'll have to play longer to see.Peeg, downclock the GPU and see if that fixes the problem. 18A at 12v is only 216 watts, which is about what the GPU pulls.I think your GPU is running out off juice.

As long as you have 2 rails going to the PSU, you'll be fine. You just have to figure out where each rail connects.ah ha.. something ive learn again... doest it the mean the ZM600-GT PSU (Zalman quad rail 12v@ 18A is also a no go?

I hope you have more than one case fan, otherwise you may also be dealing with an overheating problems. Your CPU and GPU are dumping 300+ watts of heat into that case. With the PSU on top, it ends up sucking the heat out of the case. A lot of people like this inexpensive case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146075im using an antec vsk4000
I have one of these and have no complaints: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096What kind of power supply do you recommend?
