Corsair rolled out the Vengeance Airflow line of memory coolers that are designed to complement the recently announced Vengeance Pro memory series. It keeps up with the design of Vengeance Pro modules, and comes in three color options - red, blue, and gray. Unlike similar coolers launched by the company in the past, and designed for the more premium Dominator series, Vengeance Airflow uses a single fan design, with a single 60 mm PWM-controlled fan, which can spin at speeds of up to 3,500 RPM, pushing up to 14.5 CFM of air. There's no mention of Corsair Link support. Measuring 145 mm x 67 mm x 27 mm (WxDxH), the cooler weighs about 115 g. Pricing and availability information is not at hand.

Allow me to introduce a genius move: low profile rams. Seriously, with low profile rams we can have big ass coolers without worrying about compatibility. Just think about it, Corsair.

Im pretty sure they just assume people are running their AIO systems.

Ah, two of the biggest cons in consumer hardware- tall/high finned RAM heatspreaders and RAM air coolers. Still, I suppose those memory IC's under those 1600C9 kits must get blazing hot, so fair enough o_O

At least their memory lighting module made the RAM go actually faster.

I'm sure they have thought about it, that is probably why they have an entire Vengeance Low Profile line of memory...

And a lot of them short ones clock like crap. Or maybe the sticks I played with. Still, DDR3 doesn't really get that hot to warrant tall heatsinks that interfere with everything.

can it hover around on my desk then i am all in for it................

hey just look we got some 60mm delta fans, just whack them on your memmory and then it will be fine cooled with lots of aire...NOOOO THE NOISE IS EAR R8P1NG!

I still don't get why no one makes entirely copper based heatspreaders that actually work
it shouldn't be too hard

ocz used to, but they are out of the picture now.

ram barely even gets warm in well ventilated machines, the spreaders are more for aesthetics these days.

Does anyone actually have room for these things? Then again, I'm thinking everyone is running massive air CPU coolers but most people these days are probably running closed loop water coolers...I don't even know...
