Sick of the red and black color scheme yet? Can put up with black and gold? Like to keep things all-black? ASUS wants you to choose. The company decided to package its GeForce GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II series with sheets of red and gold stickers, and an all-black graphics card, so you can pick a scheme that goes best with the rest of the system. The black and gold scheme should match the color scheme of ASUS' latest Z87 series motherboards, while the red and black scheme should go best with its ROG series motherboards.

Wow! stickers for graphics cards...I hope they are of the same quality vinyl that adorn some factory stickered cards and not of the cheap paper variety that will start peeling as soon as the heat soaks into them (esp in SLI setups). Nice to have the plain black option (no stickers).
First transparent acrylic graphics shrouds, now stickers. I'm starting to wonder whether the graphics AIB's have picked up Thermaltake's 2002-04 marketing team

Kind of cool I guess,.....

For the people that like that sort of thing,......

Seems a little vapid to me though,...

This should appeal to the crowd that spends hours sleeving individual cable leads and color coordinating their components. For the rest of us, it's hardly worthy of a news post.

mix and match and we got the ASUS TUF/Ironman edition.

red and gold combined. "sinister laugh"

IMO, it looks best without any stripes. Let's call it... BLACK EDITION.

They are made of metal and are also rather thick. MB Theme Kit as we call it will be included with future DirectCU II cards also, like the upcoming R9 290X DC2.

Its about time a company started doing this!

there are many cards/components that get chosen due to colour, and well instead of releasing 2 colour variations, they have taken initiative and done something different!

im sick with the red/black theme now, my next build was planned to be gold/black or all black.. I like this!

+1

.....could've been worse. Didn't powercolor or some one have a paint your own edition graphics card a while back. The greenies (enthusiast without window cases or cable management....just plain green pcb in there) won't get this.

Colorful iGame i think? was a 660 I think.

so they make it little bit simple with giving you stickers, yeah its easy than you take off the shroud and paint it

I prefer a closed case with sound proof as much as possible. The components can be pink with purple dots for what I care...

if you have nice hardware and neat setup why dont you show it little bit and color would give you advantage when you show your hardware

hehe well that gold stripe would go nicely with my z87-deluxe :pimp:

then give me blue stickers and a nice price reduction :p

Nah man, I am over that period in my life. I use my bedroom for something else, not to show off my PC case. Is actually quite hidden of view and I like it that way. Nobody cares anyways what a girl has under the hood right? ;) PC case hood... :D

I notice the ROG board is gold and black as well. Did those stickers come with the GPU too?

The gold motherboard is a X79 Deluxe, not a ROG motherboard.
