be quiet! has this week officially announced its newest, high-end CPU cooler, the Dark Rock Pro 3. Pictured below, this nickel-plated black beauty of a cooler makes use of a dual-tower design and features a copper base, 90 aluminum fins, seven 6 mm heatpipes, and two (one 135 mm and one 120 mm) SilentWings PWM fans with a noise output of up to 26.1 dB(A).

The Dark Rock Pro 3 includes support for Intel LGA 775/1366/2011/1156/1155/1150 and AMD Socket 754/939/940/AM2(+)/AM3/FM1 processors, and is set to become available next week priced at 79.90 Euro.

80€ is quite competitive but i hope they improved the mounting system

I certainly hope so, I recently re-installed my old Dark Rock Pro C1 on my 2600K.
You need two people with three arms each to put it in place.

This looks really good though and will most likely replace my C1.

I don't mind getting this cooler just for defiling it by replacing the fans with my two Akasa Apache Black 120mm fans.

why would you do that, the fans with it are awesome

Mostly due to the fact I have a set of 140mm and 120mm Akasa Apache Black fans left from the previous case I used my system in (and aren't doing much at the moment as I'm mostly using three 180mm fans in my case and two Akasa 120mm fans on the radiator of my CPU water cooler), but also because I find the 135mm beQuite fan with the cooler to be a bit too propriety for my liking. I also wouldn't mind getting rid of the top metal plate to see if I can get my 140mm to mount on the cooler properly as I like the 140mm fans better than the 120mm.
