Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (STA) has expanded its Wireless Enterprise portfolio with two new products designed to optimize the wireless working environment and help businesses make the most of mobility. More than ever, businesses rely on a seamless mobile experience where information can be shared easily and securely in an instant regardless of location. The newest offerings in the Samsung Wireless Enterprise portfolio, the Samsung 11ac Access Point Series (WEA400) and SMB WLAN Controller (WEC8050), introduce features that give employees fast, undisrupted connectivity across the workplace while also addressing the complex demands of IT managers.

"Mobility is transforming the way we work and a powerful, reliable wireless network is the foundation for keeping a business connected and operating smoothly," said George Montgomery, General Manager of Wireless Enterprise at STA. "Our new Wireless Enterprise access point and controllers help IT managers create a more efficient, productive work space while reducing the cost and maintenance of network equipment."

The Samsung 11ac Access Point Series (WEA400) provides businesses with the next generation of Wi-Fi speeds and a broad range of coverage, allowing workers to experience the fastest speeds and best connectivity anywhere in the office without having to hardwire into the network. Higher throughput, capacity and connectivity deliver an optimal experience for voice and video streaming and ensure that users receive high-quality wireless service regardless of the type or number of devices in use. A small, lightweight and wireless design allows IT managers to easily install and manage mobile devices across a business.

Samsung is also giving IT managers a new tool for controlling and managing access points and employees' devices with ease. The Samsung SMB WLAN Controller (WEC8050) is a fast, reliable and cost-efficient network solution. Integrated handover and LTE technology creates optimal connections for workers whether they are using notebook PCs, tablets or smartphones. The controller helps IT managers enhance security, minimize downtime and ensure system redundancy while simultaneously managing up to 75 access points and 1,500 devices. Specifically designed for small- to-medium-sized businesses and mid-sized enterprises, the controller provides network speeds and connectivity typically found in large enterprises at a scale appropriate for the needs of smaller organizations.

With products like the 11ac Access Point Series and SMB WLAN Controller, STA offers a true unified communications portfolio designed for a mobile-first environment. Its offerings help IT departments address the complex demands of mobility through end-to-end solutions that simplify deployment, installation and management.

Interesting how Samsung entered the Consumer FMCG market and made a great success of it, then the Retail/Consumer PC market... and now making some very interesting products for business/enterprise.
