Starcraft: Nearly ten years old but still fun to play and the game has a huge community in Southeast Asia. But let's face it, it's time for a sequel.
And it seems like there is a Starcraft 2 on the horizon. A Korean website called Fighter Forum mentioned an interview with someone out of the eSports industry and this person said.

"...there will be a beta version of SC2 coming out end of the year..."

cool, starcraft was the first rts i got into, can't wait to see how this turns out
 
LOL. I guess the huge fanbase in Korea kind of pushed Blizzard to make a sequel? Korean pride!!! :D

I really hope that it'll be just as good as Brood War was... heck, I'd be happy if Blizzard decided to redo the original Starcraft with better graphics and sounds :)
 
If you want a redo of starcraft pray that project revolution ever releases something.

As for SC2, it'll be hard to be as good as the first. However, if Blizzard can do it I might just forgive them for being a bunch of suckers in the past years.
 
I want to see a Diablo 3 sometime soon... haven't seen any rumours about that for a while.

Hahaha. That might be the funniest thing I've heard. I would say that I want D3, SC2, and Crysis equally, but...just wait till Crysis comes out. Then judge it. :)
 
That would be absolutly amazing. SC was one of the first PC games I really got into along with Diablo one back in 96-98. SC2 would have a lot to live up to, if it does happen I can see blizzard do nothing but a great job on it.
 
This would be exciting and awesome news if this were true.
 
If they change it to much i don't think it will be very good. They should just update the graphics and add more units. IF they do change it a lot it will ruin the legacy of the original SC

I second that. I loved warcraft II but wcIII put too much effort on the heros. Keep the consept and the story line and GET SC3 DONE! Honestly of Diablo, Warcraft, and Starcraft. I'd have to go with starcraft (please ignore my many WoW characters ;P )

Same but i cant wait for Crysis just cause i love open/end-ish shooters but i cant believe it i love starcraft i still play it ::rockout: :toast:
