ID-Cooling Announces T60-SFX Mini Gaming Case

ID-COOLING releases the second Mini Case T60-SFX in the Mini-ITX Series. As an old manufacturer of cooling products, ID-COOLING developed V.C.V.P. technology for CPU Coolers. Silencer-ITX is their first compact case in the form of passive solution for silence lovers.

The new Mini Case T60-SFX is also featuring compact design. Although small, this case is able to accommodate one SFX power supply, Mini-ITX motherboard, tower CPU cooler height less than 124mm, and dual-slot VGA card up to 260mm. As to hard disk, you can mount one 3.5" HDD and two 2.5" HDD/SSD at most. There's one 92mm fan included on the rear as a pull-out fan.



Made of aluminum, net weight is 3kg, easy to move around. Overall dimension is 310 mm x 252 mm x 128 mm.

There seems to be a bit of potential in this design.... gotta watch out for cooler clearances though!

interesting case, I would like to build a system in one of those, my Sapphire 280X is 262mm in length and that case supports up to 263 mm cards (according to the official site), A tight fit?

This doesn't look bad. I quit liked it until I read: "There's one 92mm fan included on the rear as a pull-out fan." This case would have been perfect with 120mm watercooling for the CPU. Like this I don't like it. The CPU cooler takes it's air from a zone with 3 hot spots. The RAM, the back of the video card and the damn PSU. The SSD's are also right above the cooler. They don't get that warm but it's like they tried to cram every component that gets warm in front and around the CPU cooler. Temperatures will be relatively high on the CPU compared to most cases...

Really nice looking case and innovative design. However, the fatal flaw is the ability to exhaust heat out of the case. There looks to be plenty of well placed intake to allow cool air in. However, with no venting on the top and only a single 92mm fan out back, my bet is this will be woefully inadequate for any type of serious gaming rig.

I'll bet that's right! Notice the preview pictures don't have a single power supply cable installed.

Indeed. Seems to be par for the course with a case this small though (using a Silverstone SG07 myself).

I think 128mm is correct, considering the 92mm tower cooler and that the video card is almost touching the side panel. One trick they appear to have missed is in GPU clearance. One of the screws for the left side panel block installation of longer video cards... Otherwise you could easily fit a 280~290mm/11"+ card.

I'd probably ghetto mount the SSD behind the motherboard tray (if there's enough room). The case appears to have a PSU exhaust vent on the right side panel. Would be a bummer if it doesn't though...

One possible solution would be a fan mounting hole where the 3.5" drive is. So you could choose to have a 3.5" drive, *or* mount a 92/120mm fan instead.

It's not a fuss. Please read my concerns above about the thermal issues. If you add cable mess to that, this is one of the worst ventilated cases I have ever seen...

You don't understand what I'm saying. Cable management is not about the system looking pretty. It's all about air flow. Cables block air movement throughout the case. Now, in a big case it's not really that important, in a small case like this that already has thermal issues it might be the last straw that makes this thing unusable.

I don't disagree. What I am saying is that in a small case like that you shouldn't be doing any overclocking. You will have no heat issues in that case even with terrible cable management if you keep clocks at stock speeds.
