GamingPC Releases 4.4 GHz Core i7-5960X-Powered Gaming System

  • i7 5960X 8 core cpu's just disappointing the effectiveness of core . Is more economical to buy xsenon 8 core live brige or sandy brige. and open multiplaers in the BIOS.

You cant overclock the xeons like you can k or x desktop processors.

I don't understand why people bitch about things that have absolutely nothing to do about them. Bitches bitch!!

...........and a 4790K in a $700 system still beats it at single threaded tasks.

Car analogy:

Yea there are afew 4 cylinder cars that are pretty fast when it comes to 0 to 60 but once you get up into triple digits you need them 8 cylinders.

"There's no replacement for 8 real cores". The 5960x is on my Christmas List.

I know that server motherboards do not support multiplayers. I did not know that the chip itself is locked. Ty. fucking pentium policy for sure .

Yea believe me, if the xeons could overclock, everyone would be using the 12 core version with 30MB cache :/

Wouldnt R9 290x's with their XDMA do better with quad crossfire than these titan blacks in quad SLI?

apart from that, all the obvious has been said =D If people want to buy this, all the better that its available now.

Although very nice it's more like a HUMMER, expensive to buy and expensive to run.

...companies build things like this for two reasons..... for show/bragging right and for the 1% who will actually buy it. Yes there is a market...... There are many who work hard, earn high and spend like a boss......

Bugatti Veyron?

All that stuff and they can't build it on a Extreme V instead?

I work with nurses that could afford one of these after a couple of months. There are certainly those that can afford things like this.

Damn that's one impressive PC... I was just checking out the benchmarks of quad Titan SLI and it does 70+ FPS in 4k. *drools*.

Too bad I'll never be able to afford it.

Ahahaha. Don't you worry, man. In just several years time a configuration with similar performance will cost a fraction of this total now. ;)

:D

Too unreasonable from the company to offer such a ridiculously prices rig...

Anyways, does 4-way SLI actually work? :D

I would like to know the people who buy these rigs...

Distinguished Members of Techpowerup this build is for 4K gaming but 1080p is more then enough for me. Honestly pleas tell me how much $ do you need to build a rig for 1080p gaming so you could play any game today at 60fps

PS: I know how much i need but what about you Members of Techpowerup.

Thank you all !
