As a Razer Copperhead user I can't tell you how happy I was when this morning brand new driver and firmware update have been released. The new Razer Copperhead driver version 6.10 is now Vista 32/64 compatible. The new firmware version 6.19 has slight profile change. Now the 1st profile is changed from 2000dpi 500Hz to 1600dpi 125Hz. Head over the Razer Download Center and download your new driver.

Hasnt this update been out for 2 weeks or so ?
I downloaded it then...

Im sure you can check with the razer team but the first time the file was shown on their website was April 4th and has a Create Stamp off April 3rd as you can see by the Name of the file.

Strange...I'm looking at their feeds and there it says:

That's why I saw it today, and thought the driver was brand spankin new.

Is there anything more to it than rearranging Profile 1 to what I already could have done myself with the old driver?

Are the razer copperhead mice really good?

I love mine! Onboard memory and it's super accurate.

Hmm not that this applies to me as im a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 Second edition user, but my friend just got a new Razor mouse forget which one, but he has vista ultimate on his laptop, think ill let him know theres an update available.

But i have to say i do like the idea of the onboard memory these mice have, great if you use many different machines etc.

They tend to "modify" there file access tables everynow and then.
Even the previous version/firmware indicated it was "modified" months after its release.
Dont know why razer does that but its indeed confusing.

how much memory is on board? 128k? 256?
