Here are some of the first pictures of MSI's upcoming GeForce GTX 960 graphics cards. Both variations of essentially the same card, the GTX 960 Gaming OC and GTX 960 100ME (100 million edition) cards are based on NVIDIA's new GM206 silicon. The only specs we have at hand are 2 GB of memory across a 128-bit wide memory interface, and a very low power footprint. These two cards feature a 4+1 phase VRM, which draws power from just a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Reference cards may feature just a single 6-pin. Both cards feature a compacted variant of MSI's TwinFrozr V cooling solution, which debuted with the GeForce GTX 980/GTX 970 Gaming series. The two are expected to launch on the 22nd of January, 2015.

5 bucks says this wont be able to replace a gtx 770

MSI likes to go a bit beyond the power requirement, and i simply hate it.
NVIDIA will not allow you to use this advantage what-so-ever.

Now asus on the other hand, i expect their STRIX to come with one 6PIN

i bet this card will beat my 670, so that i can sell my 670 for $200, n buy this one!

*PS: of course there is always someone who is clueless about GPU and will buy my card around $200 in my place :)

i hope for you because what you find at 200$ and slightly under where i am are 290/770(finally)/280X and some 780/290X if lucky

670 are going as low as 150$ now (for the highest price)

Finally a card that isnt some combination of red and black. The green looks cool.

I would consider buying a GTX 960 depending on price but I am leaning toward the GTX 970. Although I have seen some really good deals on R9 290X cards recently. I probably would have bought an R9 290X but I really want HDMI 2.0 support so its the GTX 970 or GTX 960 for me.

I like the video outputs: 3xdp,hdmi,dl-dvi. Does anyone know is gm206 pin compatible with gk106?
