ASUS announced the GeForce GTX 960 Mini, a graphics card that combines the company's renowned compact mini-ITX friendly board design, with NVIDIA's latest performance-segment GPU. The GTX 960 Mini (model: GTX960-MOC-2GD) looks identical in design to the GTX 670 Mini and the GTX 760 Mini. The full-height PCB is just 17 cm long, and features a dense heatpipe-fed toroidal aluminium fin-stack heatsink that's ventilated by a "CoolTech" fan, which is a hybrid between top-flow and lateral-flow blowers.

The card is factory-overclocked, and comes with 1190 MHz core, 1253 MHz GPU Boost, and an untouched 7.00 GHz memory; against reference clocks of 1126/1178 MHz. The card draws power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector. A solid brushed-aluminium back-plate adds to its appeal. Display outputs include one each of dual-link DVI, HDMI 2.0, and three DisplayPort 1.2 connectors. ASUS didn't reveal pricing or availability.

Very nice but a bit pointless when all the mini-ITX cases I have seen will fit a "normal" GPU.

well if a m-ITX case can "fit normal" GPU..... then there is thwo case scenrario: 1) it can not fit shyt... or... 2) it is not m-ITX case, but it is m-ATX case that it limited to m-ITX board (there is plenty of those in market lately - huge cases -about 20-30liters of volumeand branded as "m-ITX" - ofcorse you can fit 11' cards and several 3,5 HDDs in those - but that is not what originaly m-ITX is about )

How do you find the one's with card risers? Lian Li PC-Q19, Silverstone FZ01, RVZ01, etc... I think they are sexy, but still about 20+ liters, however I don't think they look too big. I don't think you can get much lower than let's say 10 liters for a regular width GPU. I mean Sivlerstone has LowProfile case that's 7 liters, and it's pushing it really hard (SFX and only one slot for the GPU).

I must explain my self - with term "shyte" I did mean - it can fit (ling GPUs), but with great comromises in space (like - if you fir long GPU - then no HDDs or mini PSU or no space for wires etc) so for common sence it is better to fit short GPU even if sepcs say that you can do whatever... by the way - nice case that
only 16liters of footprint (yea - there is smaller ones but lately there is waaay huger ones marked as "m-ITX") and lot of space for few fans, for HDDs and GPU (obviously will have to take many comromises and whort GPU will be one of them) - to bad that it is not sold in my country

Me too, wish for this for a long long time. The coolest looking for this generation and having a blower type cooler is this 750 from Colorful. Exclusively to Asian market.... :(

Although Gigabyte have a serious contender with their 750 low profile. This thing has insane amount of outputs for an LP card.

If you're in europe, you can also get this zotac http://geizhals.at/eu/zotac-geforce-gtx-750-ti-lp-zt-70606-10m-a1161922.html

750Ti. And thats pretty much the most powerfull card you can get in this formfactor.

This is a good looking card, its similar to ones already released but its good they finally added the GTX 960 into that list. May consider picking one up for a build that requires something small and inexpensive if hes happy with that choice of card.

Given various OEM's have had Mini's already, surprising those manufactures didn't offer these at day one.

Given the Web's various 960 round-up's have shown the cards from reference design (I saw one review) and all the way to "top-shelve", while sundry in appearanc they all still seemed to comingle in one mass with nothing differencing them. Even in fps they huddle in place, even highly touted OC'd units do not seem to spread out from the pack.

These "Mini" models would've at least given folk something that's distinctive verse the mangerie of the me-tos that all huddled in posture that gets oh-hum.

My problem with this card is that power connector. This is the case I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811108115
It's perfect for a card this size, but I cannot have the pcie connector on top. there is no room for the plug. It seems that most cases that actually need cards this size also cannot have the connector on top. and only sapphire can figure this out, as their r9 285 compact has the connector facing backwards.

Have you looked for right angle pci-e adapters?
They may be low enough to fit without obstructing the case.
