NVIDIA Releases GeForce 352.63 Beta Driver for Windows 10

NVIDIA released GeForce 352.63 Beta, a driver it recommends for all your pre-release Windows 10 testing. Tailored for WDDM 2.0 and DirectX 12, these drivers cover GeForce GPUs based on "Maxwell" and "Kepler" architectures only (GTX 900 series, GTX 700 series, and GTX 600 series only). It's still a wide selection of GPUs, which NVIDIA already announced will support DirectX 12. Grab your drivers from the links below:

I am running Windows 10 and will give these a shot... why work computer has a Quadro so will do me no good here.

While the first post doesn't give an insight into a new driver mentioned in the news you have to admit it is laugh of the day and after Windows 8 fiasco you can hardly blame people.

I still think it is funny when Microsoft said the first year consumers can upgrade for free to Windows 10 but after you will have to pay. So essentially users of Windows 8 will have to pay for a service pack after the first one year Windows 10 is released.

It would be interesting to test them out and run some benchmarks with existing DX11 games. See if any improvements somehow filter down - perhaps from the DX11.3 subset? Build 10074 apparently is running DX12.

EDIT: Perhaps it's old news and been available in previous builds. I can't remember seeing it last time I checked, however...

You give him too little credit, it doesn't take a genious to find out that removing GUI for editing saved Wireless network profile is really unproductive or to make those weird Windows Apps that can't even be resized is very childish mistake. I am talking about "Microsuck's Mistake # 8".

Why is there Windows Update service running when I have Windows Update set to manual updating or what is the point of infamous Start menu in Windows 8 where I do not have the classic folder structure that exists in Windows 7, XP?

And why on earth aren't all settings available in Control Panel and not exclusive to PC Settings?

Windows 8 brought good thing like shortcuts when you right-click Stat button, Windows To Go feature, better theme (Aero was simply weird and taskbar and windows were not of one colour but of different nuance. But in the end the removed features, removed settings from Control Panel and bugs (like improper state (enabled/disabled) of LAN/WLAN interface on desktop shortcut) make it more a mistake than a succes.

No, as you will see with time, Jorge rails constantly at the fact there are constant Windows updates, as if a perfect OS could be made with its millions of lines of code that will never need updating and that anticipates every single hacker out there who have nothing better to do than try to break into Windows. Just give it time, you'll see.

Is there a way to stop the auto install driver updates yet?

upgrading my test mule rig to this new OS & driver today. Also, that dude who posted 1st obviously do not know what it means to craft a complex software like an OS & expects it to behave like it can take care of itself. For those who do not want auto updates of everything & prefer manual updates, just uncheck any relevant boxes in Windows Update & set to "Never check for updates". Changing the service to Manual also helps.
