Arguably the most beautiful case at the show, the MasterCase 5 was announced early last week, through a press-release, which came with rendered images that don't do justice to the real thing. MasterCase 5 is a highly customizable ATX full-tower by Cooler Master, which you can custom-order with any combination of drive-bays, front and top panels, in-built fans, side-panels, and more. Cooler Master shows us variants that can house a typical multi-GPU high-end gaming PC build with liquid cooling; and a multi-socket workstation build with a boat-load of drives, and an enterprise-grade PSU. The case itself may not be made of exotic materials, but the quality of construction is top of the line.

Maybe it's just the lighting, but the front/top seem to clash with the side panels. But I do like how functional the case is, with the 10-drive support, or 8-drive support + 5.25, or take one/two cages out for large video card support.

Looks pretty good :)

I'm more intrested in that "exterprise-grade PSU" myself.. is it a redundant PSU? something that I can start off with say, a single miserly 550W Gold then upgrade to 2x1500W Titaniums? And hot-swappable while at it...

Nice I hope that the metal and not plastic, looks very functional and beautiful.

wow, taking my hat off!

nice design on that case, also the other master products are pretty interesting, I'm wondering if they will take full advantage of that using the master series for making a mechanical keyboard and gaming mice, that metallic plain stile looks insane!! mostly the dark ones!

Go ahead coolermaster!

Mine carry's 12 HDD's lol ( 9 in the front 3 in rear ), I hate see the cooling of them in that case, how the hell is air supposed to get though all those steel plates by putting the drives sideways..

like the case.....wonder if it was intentional or a rejected cosmos design.

same way it does in server backplanes: through cutouts. Usually this is done by folding the metal in those cutouts to act as rails for the sleds - easy, cheap, works quite well, and is even quiet if you sound-dampen your sleds.
