hbm has such good latency and bandwidth that it wont matter. less buffer needed for more.

true not good to count your chickens before they hatch and is only from a little bit of research on my part but @btarunr explained it like you would not be choosing 4gb of ddr3 over 1gb of gddr5.. makes since
