Laptop shuts down on the first boot

Hi,
I guess bad things never come alone...

Having a problem on another laptop.
It started like 3 days ago but didn't really bother, now its getting annoying.

This is what happens:
The first time I power up the computer after a normal shutdown the computer will shutdown in the next few seconds, then I turn it on again and it boots like it should but takes so long for windows to load. Everything is really slow after that happens.

The laptop is an Asus UX303LN and its running windows 8.1
I know that if I disable windows fast-boot this doesn't happen but its been enabled since I got the computer and this shutdown problem never happened before..

I already did a sfc /scannow. It completes but it says it can't repair some of the corrupted files.
Going to check the HD for errors now.

What version OS?

Scan it for malware and viruses.
Might have to do a repair in safe mode or do a system restore from when it was last working.
If it still has the system image you might have to do a restore and start over.

- check for newer bios versions that have fixed similar things

Found out what the problem was.
I had the pagefile disabled.
Set it back to default and all good now.
