Exactly. You're replacing potentially three cards with a single card. Sure, they won't exactly fly off the shelf but think about the supercomputing potential too. They could get 25 teraflops on a single card using three Fiji chips and four of those in a single system would net 100 teraflops. Only ten machines and you got a petaflop. That's a monumental change; Lawrence-Livermore could easily install 100 of those systems for the first exaflop capable supercomputer! And so soon after petaflop was passed too. Imagine the possibilities on 10nm. Monumental what AMD did.
