Colorful Releases GeForce GTX 980 Ti iGame Ymir-X Graphics Card

I have a very bad experience with these "no name" brands. Zotac, Colorful, Club3D etc. They may have improved over the years, but the bad taste remains. Almost every time I've seen one of these there were some retarded problems with them...
would you like to know that zotac & sapphire are the same factory, sapphire being the OEM for AMD reference cards... so no they are noname, zotac is probably just fine

club3d is almost 20 years old, but i suppose they are independent just like visiontek

a lot of the names are actually under a bit of a duopoly of parent companies

basically, very few brands are independent nonames, also those parent companies with a ton of brands & totally global distribution end up pushing the sales numbers down for asus, msi, gigabyte since those 3 are independent (also not reference or engineering sample)

Never heard of Zotac, I do know of a brand Zotec that is also owned by PC Partner, same owners as Sapphire. They made Zotec because it was not possible to make Sapphire brand with nVidia GPU.

Geforce cards are already more energy efficient than AMD cards. what do u mean more power hungry?

OK so , what's the power difference bro .....

find out yourself, can you not? you got a pair of hands, and a working brain, so use them.

the design of this vga is very beautiful :toast:

yea, they have some great looking cards but the name of their product id duh, can they take another name......
I know right... Colourful? Really??

RE.VIEW.IT! I like the look of it. Might consider getting it too.

For those who aren't too sure about Colorful, they are Nvidia's "Biggest Partner" and #1 VGA retailer and manufacturer on the Chinese market, above the beloved ASUS. As for the name, they're gaming range is actually called "Igame"

Where companies like asus and gigabyte will produce a few models of the same card, with different coolers, Igame focus on less models which allows them to give 100% attention and dedication towards the R&D of every unit they produce. Not only do they produce high end hardware like motherboards and graphics cards, they also produce, laptops, SSD's and tablets, they also have a related company called "Segotep" who manufacture PSU's, Case's and peripherals, these guys really do cover it all.

If all things work out well, you will be able to purchase Igame components from a UK retailer this year.
