NVIDIA released its latest version of the GeForce driver software. Version 355.60 WHQL features the "Game Ready" moniker, as it's released just in time for "Ashes of the Singularity," a new RTS in the space-opera setting. Developed by Stardock, this game is one of the first to feature DirectX 12 support. In addition, the drivers include a beta version of NVIDIA's GameWorks VR SDK. Besides optimizations for "Ashes of the Singularity," the drivers add SLI profiles for "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition," and "Next Car Game: Wreckfest."

It probably has two renders, one for DX 11 and one for DX12, like Cin 5 has one DX9 mode and one DX11 mode

Any graphic card can run DX12 API. It has been this way since DX10. If it can actually utilize DX12 features, that's another story. So, them saying DX11 graphic card is minimum is nothing strange or weird.

Lol, when I ran a clean installation, it uninstalled my old stuff, restarted the PC automatically, and then did nothing. Now driverless!

Better go download the installer for a second time.

A game that requires 1920x1080. RIP 1366x768.

If you are still using 720p you might as well be gaming on a console.

Right because the only thing separating the two is resolution.....

not only that...

1366x768 =/= 720p. 1280x720 = 720p.
Consoles, even the Xbone and PS4, often render at even lower than 720p.
There are still a lot of laptops, even those marketed as "gaming", that have 1366x768 panels. The lower resolution helps cope with the weaker graphics cards in laptops.

Of course we all need to remember that these are just the minimums for the alpha, they may very well change as development progresses.

Per-monitor multi-monitor DPI scaling bug that causes massive mouse cursors also hasn't been fixed in this driver.

I'm still using the GTA V driver :D, I've had no issues sofar :p

Is hardware acceleration fixed in Chrome for Windows 8.1?

Well nvidia scaling don't work anymore on my computer after this driver. so i'm rolling back

But does it add Fermi support for Win 10?!!

I have a GTX560 Ti and with 353.62 I was having terrible TDRs causing BF4 to crash. (No SLI)

These drivers are much better so far. I played a few hours of BF4 today and they seem really solid. Given my ancient GPU i was getting decent frame rates as well ~80 FPS. My minimal frame rates are much better too. So far so good, i recommend everyone try them at least and form your own opinion.

Well, you need a DX11 card to run speed improvements of DX12. The draw call increases is one the things the game dev has claimed that without them this game would be impossible to run on DX11 alone.

LOL.... who ever played at that resolution?! Even before widescreen.... I'd say 1024x768 died back in 1998....

I dunno if I can play though, I'm still using 1680x1050!
