Epic Games has finally launched a new official website for the highly anticipated Unreal Tournament 3. The website has a few in-game screen shots, as well as a trailer in HD and you can subscribe to get your hands on the latest news about the game.

Unreal Tournament 3 for XBOX360 is due to be released in September and the Playstation 3 version is scheduled for the end of year. There is no any fixed timeline for a PC version but it probably won't see the light of the day in 2007.

VERY, very true. I thought epic was going the opposite direction with this launch... I don't know who did it, but both UT3 and GoW were supposed to launch first/at the same time on PC and someone managed to convince them otherwise.... big time.


P.S. the site has been up for at least a month or so, but I think the sign up for the newsletter thing is fairly new.

On January 25, 2007, Midway made an official announcement that the newly renamed game, Unreal Tournament 3, would be released for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Each version of the game is targeting a release date in the second half of 2007."

This is just messed up. A game that wasn't even coming to xbox360 will now get it first?! Not hard to guess where the time to do the conversion came from, seeing new "PC version might come if we don't get enough money from console versions".

Microsoft must be paying big money to every other new game first on xbox360..
