TUL Corporation, a leading and innovative manufacturer of AMD graphic cards since 1997, has released a new video card in PowerColor PCS+ R9 380X Myst. Edition 4GB GDDR5. It is based on AMD's latest GCN architecture that delivers extraordinary graphics performance and image quality; furthermore, the models also support AMD's newest technologies such as Virtual Super Resolution, FreeSync and Liquid VR.

PowerColor PCS+ R9 380X Myst. Edition 4GB GDDR5 runs at 1475MHz with 2048 stream processors. The core clock speed of 1020MHz easily sits on a 256-bit wide bus supporting 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The 4+1+1+1 multi-phases board design enhances the power efficiency and stability, and also delivers ultimate performance in overclocking mode. The PowerPAK SO-8 feature is not only for minimizing conduction losses with low 1m Ohm Rds(on), but also providing excellent and stable voltage with high peak efficiency up to 91.8%.

For proper thermal solution in both normal and overclocking mode, PowerColor PCS+ R9 380X Myst. Edition 4GB GDDR5 has a 90mm ultra huge 2-ball bearing dual fans with 3pcs of 8mm GSG-shape nickel-plated heat pipes. The 100% pure copper base block covers GPU completely for delivering heats to the huge aluminum fins for proper and efficient heat dissipation.

For creating one super solid card with all components, the backplate and the PCB are locked in thermal module using the spring screws to pin through the rivets. The backplate and the copper based thermal module hold the GPU for not only balancing the pressure of the whole board but also for avoiding the card to be drooping or damaging to the GPU and other components.

Oh for crying out loud just call the cooler TurboDuo again.. This is just getting to be a bit too much.

Myst.... lol.... Every Grandma and Grandpa in the world loves that game. But to name a graphics card after it is just funny.

Maybe that's their target market... old people.

I'm always goin on about how my old Powercolor 3870 is still alive. Bathed in nicotine for a century, 120mm fan zip tied on.... Shorted out once, while on, by a molex connector hitting a pin just right on the backside of the card--there were sparks and everything. DDR3.... It's totally an old-man card.

Lol... And... Delivering heats to the three pieces of heat pipes... Totally written by the warehouse manager.

Well damn, I guess I am old then. At 33 I used to love playing Myst. But I must be running behind, as I don't even have my OWN kids yet. EEEEEEK, sorry to disappoint.

(feelin old........in a young mans forum)

Some are pretty easy to pick out. The fanboy-ism is normally a dead give away, and the arguments (or lack there of) that follows.

Oh well :) so it goes

Yeah, I kind of meant the other way. I think over half the regulars are 30's and 40's.

Damn, I am 29 and someone is saying I am grandpa because I like Myst - just bollocks... I liked, same as with almost every Microid Studio game. And yes... Syberia 3 is coming at last too...

None of you guys are even old. Hell, I'm 52 and I'm not old. People are living into their 80s these days.

My first joystick had one button

My first phone was a rotary dial

43 here and I remember this as well. Calling people and hating them if the had zeros in their number. The good old Atari joystick with it's rubber cover coming off after a time. Good memories.

Except that Powercolor used the Myst name when they made the 7870LE Tahiti based cards, of which I have one paired with a Sapphire 7870XT Boost, and they still run great

i was poor, my first joysick didn't even have a stick :'(

I think I said the same thing a couple of years ago. ;)
There's something to be said for the accumulation and appreciation of life's experiences.

this isnt Powercolor......:p

my first mobile phone, i was late on the scene, Sony CM-H333 - 'Mars Bar' Mobile Phone 1993

The Sony CM-H333 was known as the 'Mars Bar' phone because of its size and weight approximating the Mars chocolate bar! It was released in 1993, and was a very popular and desirable mobile phone of its time. It proved a worthy advisory to the then dominant Nokia and Motorola mobile phones.

The Sony CM-H333 was a design classic featuring a sliding earpiece which flips up to answer and end calls, an extending aerial and one touch dialing.
The CM H333 sold in 1993 for over £400 when it was first released.

Holy smokes, I've never seen a thread go so far off track! And yes, best video card thread ever! At least there's no one insulting each other over the merits of cards...
