Day of Defeat is a WW2 FPS class based online game by Valve. It has been highly anticipated since it was added to Steam's "Coming Soon" list almost a year ago. For existing Steam users who have bought DOD:S (through Half Life 2 Silver or Gold Steam packages), you can start downloading all the data, 627MB, needed to play the game now. The game will be made playable/released on September 26, 2005.
There is a 10% discount off the $20 price if you preorder through Steam before the game is released (VAT not included in price). Screenshots can be found here.

I knew buying that 22€ HL2 coupon on ebay, activating it early for the premier pack, then paying 10€ for the upgrade to silver was a good Idea *G*
