Still Use a Software Media Player for Music? If so, what? (Poll)

Apologies if this already exists somewhere... As the title says, if you still use software on a PC to listen to music (FLAC, MP3, etc.) what are you using?

Got me thinking because Winamp is basically dead and I always used to use it, now i use AIMP3, which is pretty awesome and lightweight. I'm interested to hear what you guys use

My wife uses GOM Audio, which is as user-friendly as it gets. I use Foobar+ plug ins.

I tried the Japanese "wonder" : Bug Head Emperor player, which many audiophiles out there swear how out-wordly is....but I really couldn't get into it.

I have no idea, I don't really do a lot other than click a song, ask for it to make me a smart playlist and then listen to what it hands me. It's big on file management more than anything else. It's probably not the greatest music player around, its just the first thing I came across when dumping Zune.

I used to love Winamp up till version 2, but after 2.91 it went downhill.

Now I'm using Foobar2000. It's great, it just does what you tell it to, it's like the opposite of itunes.
You can modify foobar to do pretty much anything and play almost any file type but the basic version is totally stripped down.

I've been messing around listening to 24 bit audio and foobar was the only player I could get to play every file format I threw at it.

Foobar looks ok, Bug Head Emperor (what a name) looks shocking haha. I like simple, i even disable the DSP stuff in AIMP really, it just needs to play the music and give me a playlist. Like this...

Although if i am not doing any thing on the PC i will just put a CD in the SONY CD player and save 75w.

i dont play alot of video with VLC, I use the blu ray on my XB 1 for movies and such.

VLC meets my needs for audio and im comfortable with it

Ok, I don't like VLC much at all for video to be honest, MPC all the way for that. I've been told that VLC has a nice playlist thing for music too though.

I rarely use pc for music. Im mostly in my car driving on job and my stereo sistem is rocking at my car ( JVC X200 radio with 4 x Magnat 216 edition speakers).
But when im home i mostly prefer my Sony T3 music player since it is very good for a phone and it delivers very nice and quality sound on my 2.1 sistem in my room.
The system is hooked up to my pc just for gaming, but it has a secondary mp3 jack in the front which i use to hook up to my mobile and chill out. Less power consumption, same if not better quality.
Since i got Windows 10, for testing music downloads, i use Groove + Realtek audio driver tweeking to see if audio files are good quality.

On Windows I've been using foobar2000 for the past 7-8 years or so.
I rarely listen to music on Linux, so I really have no preference there. I am mostly inclined to KDE and I am really lazy, so if by some miraculous chance I decide to play some metal, then most likely I will use Amarok to do it.
