The Godlike logo completely ruins it, oh well. Nice all black look though.

Nice board specs but the carbons looks like patches on the hood.
yea, i like if they coat the board with carbon pattern with the simple heatsink

I was ready to give it a go, I really was (of course with removed shrouds which looks just ridiculous).

And then from dark abyss emerged Killer NIC. Not one but bloody 2.

Board is dead and buried.

I'd actually give this board a shot if I care about X99. Can easily get past my distaste for Killer NICs.

I don't know and I don't really know why you would even want that.

You get better throughput, but the bandwidth stays the same. Just like teaming regular NICs.
This would only result in higher latency and probably syncing issues.
probably. not an expert but in theory it should be good.

my msi laptop can do teaming but never done it cause i prefer lan connection. my connection is more thsn enough for my needs

I'm just tired of the old 90s type naming scheme asian companies have. Stop it with all the stupid "godlike" "killer" and other rubbish and start treating your customers with some respect. Asus' naming is so far the most tolerable.

Yes, because MAXIMUS VIII HERO, Z170 PRO GAMING, ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA, SABERTOOTH Z170 MARK 1, and RAMPAGE V EXTREME are somehow better. I think GIGABYTE's is better overall, with names like Z170X-UD3.

Asus' names are planets and galaxies better. Are you serious?
I would take Hero, Sabertooth, Maximus and Rampage over this stupid stuff of today any day. These have legacy.
You said Z170X-UD3. That's not high end motherboards like the ones we're talking about. Asus Have stuff like Z170-A in that category. Very short and simple.

While GB stepped down from the G1 and the Killer madness, MSI keeps climbing the ridiculousness ranks.
Their new board is called Z170A MPOWER GAMING TITANIUM. All caps, of course. Its way too much.
