Prolimatech announced the PK-Zero thermal interface material (TIM) in retail packaging. Available in user quantities of 1.5 g, 5 g, and 30 g; and larger 150 g, 300 g, and 600 g cans for system-integrators and enthusiasts who frequently swap out their CPUs; the PK-Zero is an aluminium-based compound. It features zero burn-in time, letting you get its full performance straight from installation. Its thermal conductivity is rated at 8 W/m-°C, and thermal impedance 0.019 °C-in²/W, with a dielectric constant of 4 kV/mm. The compound is non-conductive for its intended use. Prolimatech didn't reveal pricing.

I wonder how liquid/thick it is... on paper really worse than Kryonaut, it stole my heart as the best TIM so far.

If it is cheaper than MX-4 I would use it for other more large things... will see.

Kryonaut, still the best TIM out there, I use it as well, great stuff, lowest temps!! (aside from liquid metal)
 
Aluminium compound ? Will it bring galvanic corrosion with copper water block / copper heat sink.

It's almost certainly an Aluminum oxide, so no.
 
they release 600g too?
if the price is right maybe i can consider this one for pc, laptop, modem, router, toys what else

I have not noticed any on mine with PK-1 or PK-3... it's non-conductive so the Al oxide is bound somehow.
 
600Grs presentation is something weird on TIM's... may be done and oriented for larger IT departments that may used it, or will take advantage of such bigass presentation, i have a flask of coolermaster icefusion 30G that have with like 2 years and still great....

they release 600g too?

you wont use not even half of that flask sir... 30 and 60G presentations are pretty much ... trust me...

Naah.... if you assemble/repair some audio amplifiers with large passive heat sinks, with some T shaped mountings to the ribs... You may use it all really fast... like a toothpaste...
 
Those 1.5g tubes in a retail box are right up my alley at work to put on the shelf for sale.

I've used a couple 30G tubs of some generic thermal compound on several of my ASIC miners back in the day. They were big, crazy machines with lotsa chips, each needed a good amount of heatsink compound. My point is, there are some applications that will use a tub of thermal paste easily, but they usually aren't PCs.

How is this compared to lets say Noctua NT-H1 paste?
 
I was thinking someone here tested it to compare.. Well I own it and its good, almost good as shin-etsu (*last chart - black picture) H90 preapplied paste, maaaybe Noctua is 1-2C worse, but I always wanted something to get the best out of this cooler. :D

I had shin etsu two types PK-1 and H1.s

PK-1 is very similar to H1... but kryonaut topped them by 1-2C and that is a lot in my books. The cooling ramp has a different sound level. Especially on the GPU it matters.
