It's nice to see a onboard DVI connection sadly it's only DVI-D that supports upto 1920x1080@60hz, I would love to see DVI-I connects up to 2K or more since there is onboard dp on most boards that can do that.

DVI-D does support 2K. DVI-I just allows the use of DVI to VGA adapters as far as I'm aware.

It should, unless the graphics card or iGPU you specifically have doesn't support that resolution.

Are you using a dual link, not single link DVI cable?

I use a DVI-I Dual-Link cable and my screen requires dvi-d dual-link.

haven't had luck with DVI-D Dual-Link cables even have a DP to DVI-D Dual-Link that's rated for 4K use but my screen refuses to turn on when I am using it.
