Here's the first picture of GALAX' flagship graphics card, the GeForce GTX 1080 Hall of Fame (HOF). The card features the company's strongest VRM solution for this chip, with a 12-phase setup that draws power from a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors, 2 GHz-scraping factory OC, and the groovy styling of a white PCB, with a mostly white colored cooling solution. One way to take advantage of the white scheme is to embed it with RGB multi-color LEDs. Enthusiasts also get features such as dual-BIOS, letting them tinker with their expensive card's BIOS. The card shown to us features a triple-slot, triple-fan cooling solution, however, it wouldn't surprise us if GALAX also launched a liquid cooling-ready variant with a factory-fitted full-coverage water block.

That white PCB, that custom VRM, that white shroud...That is a fantastic card!!!

It looks nice. Not too much of anything.

I'm seeing a lot of good stuff here too, 2x8 pin, custom VRM, triple slot goodness.

But at 800 EUR it's still not happening, even if they plated that shroud in pure gold it's way overpriced.

I own the GTX 980 HOF Galax card. The PCB is completely re-done. The base clock is 1,304MHz.

I believe it is the fastest 980 ever made, but it's the rock solid reliability that is greatest.

Considering this, I plan to buy a 1080 HOF when released. The extra engineering and top quality parts mean that it does warrant a price over the founders edition, or other custom cards. If anyone sees and uses it then I suspect you will agree.

However I do admit it's a bit pricey, but I bet they will all sell out. (Like the 980HOF did)
