Cryorig unveiled the Ola, a cylindrical chassis for super-compact gaming PC builds. Unlike other cylindrical cases, such as the one featured in the Apple Mac pro, the Ola features its mini-ITX motherboard's rear I/O ports on its top. The case has room for an SFX form-factor PSU, one each of 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives, and a mini-ITX motherboard. A PCIe riser from the board heads to a compartment right behind the motherboard tray, which can house a dual-slot, full-height graphics card up to 29 cm in length. Cryorig demonstrated this by installing a GTX 1080 Founders Edition card. The entire case is housed by a cylindrical aluminium cover.

Ya know one of these days people are going to get smart and look at Apple's design and realize, if computer boards and parts are four sided then perhaps circular cases are not the most optimal way to design a case?

G4 Cube ahead of it's time...

Man I wish some case maker would copy that old design. As a Cube owner who modded out his Cube...damn that thing was a dream design. Just needed a little more room in the GPU bay. Always marveled opening it up and digging inside. Everything fit perfectly and looked good while at it. Shame the acrylic cracked with age.

We are people man. Practicality isn't everything. Sometimes you just want something to look beautiful. And a case is one of the things I always tell people : you are going to look at this thing ( unless it is tucked away somewhere ), 365 days a year, so you'd better pick a case that you really really like . I am not sure I dig the Bin-man design, but I might if I can check it out live.

Heh, looks like a trash bin, which I have in my toilet. Seriously speaking at least it has graphics card installed on the right direction. Anyone noticed that those gtx1080Fe:s are in every friggin' case news now, are they real or just dummy cards showing it fits.

More so than a bin, all so looks like a heater too, hate to think of having friends around for a party.

I actually like it, but the flanges are breaking the design

Maybe they're trying to reinvent the wheel?

Does it take K cups :) Looks like a coffee machine. I'm all for innovative design but that thing is hideous.

The reversible cases on the other hand, that I can see as useful for a variety of situations. Blowing hot air from a vc up, easier water cooling routing maybe, or having visibility into the case from the opposite side depending on where your case is located.

I love the mac pro design, but because it looks like a premium trash can. This one looks very cheap. Why intake from the sides and not the bottom? I dont want side openings on my trash cans.

Ditto, but probably avoids getting sued over plain cylinder that the other large company used.

This is the 3rd steaming pile I've seen released. At least they might learn their lesson when they lose money due to low sales.

Guess we can blame Apple's Mac Pro for the recent "Trash Can" trend in PC cases lately. :P

Made me think of Gott Ist Ein Popstar by Oomph!

The amount of followers is sickening.

With proper paintjob its gonna look nice.
Right now its looks like a cheap product.

Why? People like trash D:?

Least its not a square box, like the others(positive twist on it) :rockout:

I can see it as a R2-D2 casemod
