In addition to the RX 470 Platinum Edition OC, Sapphire unveiled a pair of Radeon RX 470 NITRO+ series graphics cards. This includes a 4 GB variant, and an 8 GB variant. Besides memory, the two differ slightly with their factory-overclock. The 4 GB variant ships with 1143 MHz core, 1260 MHz boost, and 8.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory; while the 8 GB variant ships with 1121 MHz core, 1260 MHz boost, and 8.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory. Both variants feature Sapphire's new generation Dual-X cooling solution, which made its debut with the RX 480 NITRO+ series. The PCB appears to be similar, too.

Memory clocks listed incorrectly. Only 8GB has 8000 Mhz memory.

Basically the 470 8GB is stronger than the reference 480 8GB.

Maybe they've overclocked the memory. My GTX 980 also came with 7GHz VRAM and now it's ticking with 8GHz. Who says they can't do that with RX470 already in the factory? I mean, this isn't a reference card after all...

Who says? Their own website lol.

4GB = 1750

8GB = 2000

The 8GB 2000mhz RX 470 will probably use the same memory as the 8GB RX 480 and the 4GB RX480(Nitro) and RX 470(Nitro) use the same Hynix H5GC4H24AJR-R0C memory also from what I've seen but there more suppliers for 512 memory modules at 1750mhz so this will probably change.

Already got mine. 4GB, Hynix memory. 1800Mhz is the highest wattman will go for memory OC, no extra voltage needed.

The 1300Mhz core I pulled off while also undervolting, pretty nice :) It still stays solid at 1.3Ghz under load.

I'd like to try that but it seems the Trixx 3.0 software isn't released publicly yet :/

What is the 470 supposed to compete with? I want to compare benchmarks.

Benchmark Scores 3050 scores good 15-20% lower than average, despite ASUS's claims that it has uber cooling.

960 (which had shitty perf/$, worse than 970 even before this gen came)

Pascal version isn't there yet, but it might come eventually (1050).
