PM @btarunr then and" in your opinion" ask him to edit his Article
What opinion? The article states that the 34UC79G is the 144hz panel. Not the 38UC99. The article does not provide a resolution for the 34UC79G. I, and other users, looked it on LG's website.
You stated the resolution for the 144hz panel was 3840 x 1600, which is not correct.

This is absurd. My original question I asked what the resolution of the 144hz panel was. You misquoted btruner. If I had asked what the resolution of the 38 inch monitor was, your quote, and his article, would have been relevant and correct.

Sometimes it's wise to acknowledge one was wrong in the first place instead of making oneself look like a fool thereafter.

Pricing irc is 600, 700, and 1500.
Still no gsync. Stupid. Either buy amd and be too underpowerd to use the technology, or buy nvidia and have no options. Catch 22?

Or nvidia could stop being an ass and suport vesa standards...
Wait they already do on laptops... Yes that is right gsync on laptops is just freesync...

Freesync is an AMD-branded variant (based on certification processes) for Adaptive-Sync, which is itself an OPTIONAL component of the VESA standard. If the only GPU manufacturer currently using it is AMD, then it's as bad as a proprietary standard until the day someone else uses it. Right now, Freesync is AMD exclusive and Gsync is nVidia exclusive.

To the OP's point, no current AMD card can actually run games at the resolutions where Freesync would benefit. You going to buy an RX480 to run any of these monitors at high refresh rates?

No. You won't. Maybe when Vega releases... whenever that is. Until then, only Gsync-capable cards have the power to really power these monitors, which makes them supporting Freesync rather silly and shortsighted.
