The TVS-682T is an incredibly high-end QNAP NAS with a fast Skylake Intel CPU and 8 GB of RAM. Its two Thunderbolt ports and two 10GBase-T ports even allow it to offer blazing fast network transfer speeds, which makes smooth 4K video transfers are a definite reality.

Benchmark Scores A lot.
Maybe I've missed something, but why is it so slow on these file copy tests? These are merely 1GigE speeds and given that this unit has dual-10GigE ports and a fast cpu (for NAS standards), I would've expected something in the 200-400MB/s range for a four/six disk setup.

Performed the single client tests using one Gbit port in order to check on this unit's processing capabilities in conparison with the rest that dont have 10 Gbit ports. Fact is that 10Gbit speeds dont offer much in my test suite which pushes too hard mechanical disks.

To see this server's capabilities check rhe helios lan tests and the multiclient tests where I use both 10 Gbit ports.

Looks like your missing a word in this sentence.
This cover is out of metal, making it heavy enough.
This cover is made out of a single sheet of metal, making it heavy enough.

Not picking on you or the proof reader.

Edit: Always like looking through the tear down photos in the articles.
