Will my CPU be enough for Forza Horizon 3?

The recommended requirements for Forza Horizon 3 are as follows:

But, I currently have an AMD build.

CPU: FX 8320 @4.4ghz
GPU: R9 390X 8Gb
RAM: 16Gb @1866
HD: 2TB seagate @7200rpm

My only concern is the CPU. I've looked at Benchmarks and obviously the intel is slightly better. But there are other factors in play, like that this is a DX12 title so in theory it would utilize my 8 cores, and My CPU is overclocked.
So will I be fine running this title?

It will work fine. You dont need more than 60 fps for a racing game really.

Apex beta runs just fine at 60+fps. But Apex is like motorsport where it's on a closed track. Horizon is an open-world game. So I guess it needs more CPU power?

True enough! The "web" would have me believe there will be a demo available but nothing on the Store as of yet so you may get a chance to try it out first.

Edit: On further inspection it appears the Demo is just for the Xbone but it could change? I have to say it sure is expensive tho....So I would certainly want to know how it ran too.

That is recommended settings not minimum so would only take that. So they are higher then what you will need to run it even then i think a 3820k is a bit extreme for the game.

More than likely, but even the Apex beta is proving to be quite the mule to try and run maxed out. Theres a lot more CPU calculations that have to be done in race games than others. Especially ones that are trying to be even remotely simulator-esque.

Well the Min Spec is an i5 3570 so regardless you should be fine IMO.

Haven't the recommended specs been silly for years now? Saying you need an i7 although an i5 handles it with ease.
I'd say don't worry, you'll be fine.

idk, in Apex I barely cracked 40 maxed out with a 4770k and 780.

LOL i got 30-40 with the Phenom II and GTX 580.

Once I turned down a couple settings I was doing like 60-70

EDIT: I guess my memory isnt serving me well. If you got that much with a phenom II, I definitely had to have gotten more, but I just remember it not being all that smooth till I turned one setting down or off.
