AMD today rolled out the Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.9.1 Beta drivers. The drivers add optimization for the DirectX 12 renderer of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," and adds an AMD CrossFire profile for the DirectX 11 renderer of "DOTA 2." The drivers also address flickering on certain 144 Hz displays, and some rare game crash bugs on "DOOM," "Total War: Warhammer," "DiRT Rally," and "GTA V." Grab the drivers from the links below.

I see AMD only releasing beta drivers in a wave recently...

Wait, is DX12 available for Deus Ex already?

Glad that I don't have these crash bugs with my games and my nvidia card.

Release of DirectX 12 support in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided:
As of today, users are also able to utilize the awaited DirectX 12 Graphics API. To activate this you are required to do the following:
  • Within your Steam Library, right-click on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
  • Select ‘properties’ from the context menu and navigate to the Beta tab.
  • From the dropdown menu, select dx12_preview then close the window.
:toast:

EDIT - MULTI GPU NOT SUPPORTED APPARENTLY.

Will test with my 2 x R9 295X2s for performance...

Just a huge number of people with latency issues when using hardware acceleration.

After the game has downloaded the DirectX 12 supported build you can then toggle DirectX 12 from either the launcher window or from the Display options within the game.
Note that DirectX 12 requires a restart of the game if (de-)activated from within a running Deus Ex: Mankind Divided game session.

I just put in 16.7.3 WHQL...

I also found out AMD hasn't been updating Chipset drivers as it would appear for my board only thing needing updating is the Catalyst/Crimson Installer lol.

Nice.

Obligatory: I definitely asked for this.

it seems to update vulkan runtime as well giving even more boost to amd cards
