Isn't this one of those new sapphire cards with removable fans, so sapphire can just send you a new fan?
From what I have read, they will force the user to rma the whole card. That really defeats the point of removable fans.
Sorry for the double post.
After testing this RX 460 nitro+ i noticed none of the fans spin once i get into windows and the fans will stay idle until the GPU reaches about 50+c
I also think crimson drivers are a bit buggy with this card atm as i had an issue where crimson driver was saying the gpu is at 50c and fans were going mad but nothing was running and temps would not drop at all untill i restarted lol.
All in all i do not think there is anything wrong with your RX 480 nitro+ to be honest so for now all i can say is just keep an eye on things for a few more days.
Phantom loading really sounds like rogue hardware acceleration... or a miner.
