From where I can see. This cooler is a failer. If the main cooling fin is a "Fist" away from the heat source(CPU) then it wont be efficent. Anything longer then a fist wont be a good cooler. Plus that thing is huge and must be like +1000g

Looks like a larger version of the coolmaster gemini which performed very crap in my system after trying it 3 times.

Think I will be giving that one a miss

the large (extremely large) fan may cool the fins enuff for a reasonable temperature gradiant allowing the heat to transfer more efficiently to the fins for dissipation, tho shorter heatpipes would be a deffo bonus,

tho, looking at its size, a tiny waterpump with a closed loop + heatpipes to a semi waterblock could be interesting, the heatsink size deffo could dissipate plenty of heat.

But, looking at it as it is, the heatsink is overkill, it cant possibly have enuff heat to dissipate to be worth using?? i could be wrong, testing will only prove otherwise

i was thinking the same, its big enuff to be part of the side panel, and closing makes contact with cpu, hmm, actually... that could provide enuff spring mounted force to work

you cant see the hardware...no rep for you :nutkick: :p

I dont understand why it has to be big... bigger is probably LESS efficient in a space to heat removal ratio compared to other coolers

takes two people to install and forget it if you forgot to plug something in or want to add anything .. you'll have to remove that monster first ... i personally don't like it

I dont understand why fans like that have all that plastic on the back of them to hold on the surrounding enclosure. It cant be any good for airflow and it seems unnecessary.
