I was thinking about listing it for about $500 on eBay. What do you guys think? Charge more or less? If so, for how much?

You need to provide the specific brands and exact model numbers of the motherboard, SSD, PSU, RAM, and graphics card. I would not even consider buying anything without that information.

Also note if the Windows license currently on it is an OEM/System Builders license (or an upgrade from an OEM/System Builder's license), the license and any disks MUST go with the computer.

That sounds decent but a couple of years ago on ebay, I sold my gaming HTPC. Had a i5-4670K, some gaming motherboard (cant remember), 800 watt name brand psu (cant remember), 16 gigs of Mushik ram, a MSI Lightning edition 780 and Lian Li HTPC case and it went for a whopping $700. I nearly cried.

Oh yeah, samsung evo ssd. I some have stripped a lot of that stuff and threw crap in there

OK I will update the list of parts and it does have a activated windows licence. will update it once I get home

I don't tend to offer free shipping because shipping is not refundable.

If things go horribly wrong and you have to refund, free shipping hurts your wallet more.

I don't even ship anymore if I can avoid it - for those reasons. We do customer pickup or local area delivery only. For one, we can show the client everything works before they accept it which is nice for everyone.

Our local police station also has a "Safe Zone" for exchanges in their parking lot that is under 24/7 surveillance. Very nice.

OP, I'm thinking $575 as it has a GTX 960 and an SSD, but I definitely agree that full specs including brands and model of the parts will help show the value.

You don't have to provide tech support with a whole "used" system either!

If you part out used RAM and the buyer claims it does not work, it is the same difference as if you sell the whole used computer and the buyer claims it does not work. Whether you provide any tech support or not is just part of the deal. But typically when buying used anything, it is an "as is" transaction. So the old adage applies, "Caveat emptor" (Let the buyer beware!).

eBay does not abide by your logic. They will flat out refund a customer for just about anything they buy without even consulting the seller. Just something to be aware of!

Correct even you say "as is" they paypal will refund if the seller complains. oddly enough this doesn't happen often. also don't do international. That's why I say e bay last resort. Its expensive first the yo9u can lose your money if any problem arises.

I have over 250 positive feedback and if someone complains to me about a part I sold I just go ahead and refund it if they return the part. Negative feedback is not worth the $10 part

Some are some not. I don't thing EVGA is one that does it but could be wrong. Some you have to register, some don't even ask

I know Corsair did even ask if I was the first buyer then just shipped the part
