i only paid £ 65.00 for the GTX 680 and sold it to a friend at cost, it had a fan controller added but worked perfectly. No-one else bidded for it because of the fan controller mod...... :peace:

Two of my mates locally have GTX 970 and TBH an MSI one would look gorgeous in my pc

agreed, but so sad its the true, Nvidia + intel use to forget about older gens... what a shame...but thanks for the great comment indeed, great points there!

I'd like to buy a used 970 too but I have had such bad luck with used graphics cards that I stick to new only unless its very cheap. I had a 9800GT I bought for $20 that worked well. And a 7800GT that worked for a couple years. Otherwise my used graphics card purchases have been pretty bad. "never overclocked"... LOL right...

What about OC?What is your experience and how that goes for GTX 960 and GTX 1060 and did you tried that at all?
