Black Screen Issue After Attach Graphic Card

Yes all 4K monitors should work but make sure they run at 4K 60hz and have HDMI 2.0 inputs.

Personally I wouldn't buy a 4K monitor for a GTX1070....
I would look at high Hz 1080p or a 1440p monitor.

I found one but it's not 4K. Just saw that this monitor is HDMI. SAMSUNG LC24F390FHMXUF 23.5 inches 4ms (Analog+HDMI) Full HD FreeSync Curved Gaming Monitor. Is it works with MSI GeForce GTX Gaming X 8G. Actually I wonder that all HDMI monitor works with this card.

Edit: Okay. I bought LG 27M47VQ 27 inches 2 ms FULL HD HDMI Gaming Monitor. I'm using HDMI and it's working fine.

if the Port on the GPU is DVI-D (Most are) it wont work, it has to be DVI-I for it to work

It does not matter because the vga part was removed on the gpu side on the 10xx cards and this has been known since day one.

What i have found out today according to info on the nvidia site is that you may use a DisplayPort to VGA adapter to connect your GeForce GTX 1080/1070 to an analog VGA monitor. Review the documentation of the DisplayPort to VGA adapter to make sure you are choosing the right adapter to support the resolutions and refresh rate of your monitor.

Well the port should be keyed for dvi-d.

Btw startech makes an dp to vga adapter that works for me on a 16 year old monitor.
