AMD Releases the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.1.2 WHQL Drivers

AMD today released the 17.1.2 WHQL version of its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive. The release packs the exact same game support, fixes and known bugs as the previous 17.1.2 Beta, with the only difference being that this version is now WHQL-signed.

Im on 17.1.2s now, no issues thus far.

16.12.1 for me and won't change.. Seems the newer drivers get slower in fps in the games I play plus it just works dam well with not a single issue. I even use re-live recording all the time for my online gaming matches and it's perfect.

Anyone know how to do the clean install that the driver claim you can do? AMD folder is up to 6.7GB

If it's the one that is in the root C folder before going into the program files then you can delete it easily. It's where the installers get dropped when you unpack the driver.

Only delete the older folders that are for gpu only, except the lstest 3. If you ever need system restore thats what it uses.

Yep, deleted old files and did clean install, saved some good space on the SSD.

I remove older folders that I intend on not keeping a restore point for on those drivers. So far I have 3 chipset and 3 GPU.

yeah C drive, AMD folder, just delete it after running DDU and then install the new driver.

EDIT- I re-call my last statement on the 17.1.2 Driver

I don't know if there is a physical change to the WHQL driver but the non whql I was getting lower frame rates in my games.

Anyways I installed the newest DDU UN-installer and removed the 16.12.1 driver and I'm actually getting 2 frames more at stock, and overclocking I'm getting even a lot better numbers
