Purchased all retail products to play with the Rockit de-lidding tool.
The Core i7 7700K is less than a week old and has been de-lidded and the stock TIM replaced with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut. The IHS was sealed back with 4 drops of superglue at each corner.
The cpu is prime 95 stable at 5.00ghz with 1.3vcore and a maximum of 69-70C under full load (using 240mm aio cooler).
I am looking for nothing more than what I paid for the components and I will ship for free anywhere in the USA.
This is the 3rd bundle that I have sold recently, all have Heatware references (username Footman), the last one being a Ryzen 1700 review bundle and the one before a Devils Canyon bundle.
I will be happy to provide other references.
This cpu is a joy to use and cool as a cucumber now that the stock TIM was replaced.
For your reference I used the Rockit Kit to delid, see photos.
