Nvidia GTX 960 OC running slow

Hi all. I need a bit of help with my GTX960 OC. As it has 4Gb onboard but will only utilise 1.2 of this max? My CPU is also only using about 30% of 4 cores and 16Gb memory is only using 6 to 7 Gb tops.

As I am not as technical as I would like to be I wondered if someone could explain what is wrong here. I am trying to run a complex N3V trainz sim. I can provide screen shots of the loading in GPU-Z and AMD System Monitor if that helps.

The vram usage depends on the game and your ingame settings.
If you start using AA and stuff it will use more vram.

Dirt Rally with mostly Ultra settings at 1080P uses 3196MB on my GTX 960M 4GB using Drivers 368.39 But this indeed varies with games as already stated.

@SilverFox if you want to download one of the benches hosted here at TPU and run a test I will too to see how they comapare...Just let me know what Bench.

Crank the resolution up to max too
