I know this sounds preposterous but I actually had a similar issue many years ago and it took me nearly 2 years to get to the bottom of it by chance. I turned out to be the onboard sound on my MSI motherboard getting hot/bugging out and shutting down my PC. The computer would just hang and all I'd hear is this persistent buzzing noise - it was actually the last millisecond of audio my computer played at the time in a neverending loop.
Is it fixable or do I need to bring it to my local shop. Also, does it only happen in games?

I just replaced my mobo in that instance. Only happened in games for me because that's primarily what my pc was used for.

If your GPU passed furmark for 15 mins, you can be almost 100% sure it is not the GPU. Furmark pushes the limits of a GPU and often cause weak GPUs to completely die if left for long.
Check CPU temperatures while stressing it with the tools I mentioned. Also, HWMonitor is reliable too. I just prefer AIDA because their graph is quite useful for monitoring.

Does it matter what furmark test i run? I simply clicked on GPU stress test. So far, my cpu has been running the prime95 test for about 15minutes and max temp= 80C it is running at around 70C per core right now is it a safe temp?

Do you think there is a way that I can prove the mobo being at fault to my local store? My Mobo is still in warranty.

Also check "manually" air that comes out from psu is it hot or normal
If it's too hot - it also can cause freezes

My PSU voltage from Prime95:

Also check "manually" air that comes out from psu is it hot or normal
If it's too hot - it also can cause freezes
PSU temp during PRIME95 stress test: Max is 45C

Was your system in a combined stress test while HWMonitor ran in the background?

Combine stress of CPU and GPU by running Prime95 and Furmark together for 8-10 mins. As for Furmark settings, 1920*1080, 8xMSAA, Extreme BurnIN, PostFX should be checked.

I did a combined stress test and this is what I got for PSU. Also attached is GPU during combined stress test.

I am thinking that it may be a problem with the motherboard. Have you updated its drivers? Also in my opinion please don't run furmark, it can actually destroy your videocard. I think the problem is not the videocard.

Here are the drivers for the motherboard you have:
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/B150-PRO-GAMING-AURA/HelpDesk_Download/

Another thing you can try is removing everything from your motherboard except 1 stick of ram and the cpu. Plug the monitor into the motherboard's onboard video. See if you can replicate the crash. This would narrow things down a bit.

You should be able to run CS GO with onboard video.

Power supply looks fine. Videocard temperatures are fine.
Thanks for that. I ran my CPU for about 20minutes with prime95 all passed and max temp was 80C for one core, but it usually stays below 73C is CPU ok as well?

Yes that is fine. I am looking at the updates for your motherboard and there are some updates to the motherboard bios that claim to improve system stability.

Version 3401

Description B150 PRO GAMING/AURA BIOS 3401
1.Improve system stability
2.Enhance system compatibility
File Size 7.72 MBytesupdate 2017/04/21
Download from Global

I would also make sure you update the other chipset drivers, also found on https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/B150-PRO-GAMING-AURA/HelpDesk_Download/

Someone said problem could be from the motherboard more specifically the sound part, is it possible to replicate the sound problem or to see the hot part as one of the users said

Should be possible to at-least narrow it down by removing the videocard and the soundcard from your board and running CS GO with your video coming from the onboard video. Then if it crashes, you can have an idea where to start: the motherboard probably.

I would update all of the chipset drivers including the audio drivers.

The problem is extremely occasional. It is really simple. When I headshot someone in CS GO, or my Zarya laser hits someone or a bastion shoots me, the game freezes at the last frame, and I hear a constant buzzing sound. Only thing I can do is hard reset.

Should be possible to at-least narrow it down by removing the videocard and the soundcard from your board and running CS GO with your video coming from the onboard video. Then if it crashes, you can have an idea where to start: the motherboard probably.
RAMs also. I would start with the RAMs.

As Vario stated as well: Update motherboard BIOS. Check if problems occur then.
How does my PSU and GPU look?

Yep only run 1 stick of ram
Does the link you send that ASUS posted for stability mean updating my MOBO BIOS or is it a different thing?

RAMs also. I would start with the RAMs.
Is Memtest86 reliable enough to exclude RAM as possible problem if it passes?

Yep only run 1 stick of ram
As for updating BIOS, do I only download the latest one or the ones after my first also?

Symptoms of hanging really comes from hitting an opponent usually something w/ a sharp sound (e.g. cs go headshot)

how could this issue possibly be anything outside software/game related?

Unless I misunderstanding the description of the problem OP is getting freezes when he contacts opponents in game immediately my mind goes to network Internet speed things of that nature but that wouldn't cause a computer to freeze but the fact of the game runs fine throughout the rest of everything else it rules out anything hardware based.... there's no bios update that resolves freezing while headshoting opponents o_O

In what's close to three decades of computer experience I've never heard of an issue like this at least specifically like this ,I would like to see it ....upload a video of it please

Yes you would update your motherboard bios to the Version 3401.
Then you would also get all the chipset drivers by selecting windows 10 64 (which I think you have) and then click the blue chipset link found here

its a starting point on testing the ram. I don't think its your ram I think it is a hardware fault with your sound where it means to play a sound instruction but cannot so it crashes. But it doesn't hurt to test the ram as well.

You download only the latest one.

Its probably not the network its probably the game telling the hardware to do a certain thing and the hardware is faulting on it and crashing.
