Huh? 560 beats it in quite a number of games.

I was referring to the APUs IGP. Here where I live the 460/560 is a lot cheaper than the 1050, so it's a no-brainer.

Well, I'll have Vega after all hehe. Waiting for new Ryzen based APU's since the announcement. So I'll be able to retire my trusty AMD E-450 laptop and replace it with Ryzen+Vega APU. I just wonder how low they'll go with them. The laptop I'm aiming needs to be at a 350€ price bracket. It's probably still gonna be quad core without any HT I'm guessing.

No way they will release a quad core for 350 euro, the quad cores will start at around 500-600 euro and those probably will NOT have SMT, the ones with SMT will probably start at 700-800 euro.

Yeah, well, I was wondering how they'll trickle that down. CPU will be Ryzen based for sure, but for GPU part, I have no idea. I was talking it might be Polaris based, but people said it'll be Vega. So, I don't know.

It's vega, but not the "exciting super-fast" vega we were hoping for. Those preliminary and highly unreliable early tests from compubench indicate that it falls somewhere between HD620 and NVidia GT920M.
Not bad for an iGPU, but still not quite a competitor against an entry-level dGPU like current MX150.

an entry-level dGPU like current MX150.

And so far there's only like two models with it avaliable for purchase here, and they are of course ultrabooks so no quad cores. shakesfist.gif

 yeah of course, APU prices will rise from 150 bucks to 500-600, just because Ryzen replaces FX cores and a whopping 256 extra shaders. Pro tip: read the thread and learn something for a change.

I don't think Vega was ever meant compete with Nvidia. I think it was meant to compete against Intel on APU level while sticking it to them on the CPU front as well. :)

Considering what we are seeing when you under volt Vega, this is interesting.
