One thing that really bothered me during my 2 yrs brief ownership of Define R5 is the lack of screws. They send you JUST ENOUGH of screws for everything. It is really annoying when when on those screws happened to be a motherboard screw.

i have requested thumb screws (im assuming thats the screw type You mean) from atleast 3 different Case Manufacturers, as well as replacement side panels. Cougar sent me a giant shipment of 6 (Yes SIX) different types of Side panels (windowed & non windowed) , and a Massive bag of 50 Thumb screws :) , Phanteks has sent me the best quality thumb screws, but they only sent 10-15 (i cant recall) as well as replacement front control boards (power /reset/ etc). Thermaltake has done the same, all i had to do was ask, I recommend You try the same ,especially with a company like Fractal, i would assume their response would be more than acceptable for You..... I dont think I even had to provide proof of purchase, just a pic, and explanation, saying that My case screws kept stripping, and Viola! give it a try, (if You havent). Shipping was always covered so all it ever cost me was the time to type the Email.

Tried. Sadly my case is out of warranty by 2 months so they cannot do anything except for me to pay for another accessory box. Which I was not OK with.

That's unfortunate about the R5. My R4's have more accessories than I can use.

Despite Fractal Design going a little cheap on extra packets of screws...this R5 seems like a seriously well built case for 80 bucks...:). I have the little Arc Mini and it's built like a tank, very solid.

Personally, I think JBoyd has it correct, all of these cases should come with thumbscrews. For the motherboard AND the power supply.
