SteelSeries today introduced the Rival 110 gaming mouse. The most affordable mouse from the company to feature 1-to-1 tracking TrueMove optical sensor, the mouse features a 7,200 CPI sensor resolution, and 240 IPS tracking. You can adjust the resolution in increments of 100 CPI. This pseudo-ambidextrous mouse features six buttons in all, with two buttons located along its left side, making it better suited for right-handed users. The switches under the main buttons are rated for 30 million clicks. The mouse has a fixed weight of 87.5 g. The SteelSeries logo on top, and scroll-wheel inserts are embedded with RGB multi-color LEDs, which can be controlled using the SteelSeries Engine software. Available now, the Rival 110 is priced at USD $39.99.

I recently bought the Rival 100 and its left mouse button bit the dust in 3 weeks. Seen a lot of posts regarding that mouse having a larger rate in failures. At least it was 30 euros on sale. I wonder how long will the replacement one last.

Get the Sensei 310 if you like the shape of the Rival 100/110, or Rival 310. I just upgraded from the Rival 300 to the 310 and its easily the best mouse i have ever used. Uses new Omron switches rated for 50 million clicks, and the new sensor is fantastic. Previous Omrons were rated for 20-30 million.

Steelseries damn close at achieving the perfect mouse for finger tip and palm grip users with the Rival 310.

I have small hands, I tried my friends' Rival 300 and it was tad bit large even though it has a nice shape, it did feel good when using it, but I'm not sure about long term use. Anything that copes the Deathadder shape gives me palm and wrist pain (including my own A4Tech Bloody V3). The Rival 100/110 just seems perfect, it only lacks the better switches and 2 more buttons for personal preference.

They say the Rival 310 is like 1% smaller but it actually feels quite a bit more than that. Its also about 10g lighter. And the shape is better. The sensei 310 has the same shape as the rival 100/110.

You might like Zowie fk mice though.
