Man I just bought a HP Stream 14. That Dell Inspiron 14 3000 would have been a great alternative

The S2716DG is 2 years old and its mark down is based on its original launch price which it hasnt been in a year. So this is marketing BS.

Also, apparently Dell doesnt know how the internet works, while the American site gets this attention, they just increased the price of that very monitor here TODAY by €177, no doubt to make it look like a great deal when they discount it on their super mega cyber monday sale!! So lazy, altho so many will fall for it, so I guess they dont need to care :S

Typical stuff, raise the price for a few weeks before a sale to make the discounts look great. If you want an actual deal, set up an alert on a price tracking site, set up a google alert, and bookmark local(ish) places. Its like not waiting for a Steam sale and instead looking around, better deals all year round, so why wait for the seasonal-and-generally-not-near-historical-low that is Steam sales now.

I've had the S2417DG (24 inch version) for about 4 months now, its quite epic.

Good to know, i honestly preferred an IPS panel, but that's not quite possible with those refresh rates and response times. Two guys i know bought the 24" version of it, which has a higher density, but not sure about scaling n stuff, and i'd like anyway to get a bigger monitor, as i'm trying to sit farther from it, and with a 23" at 70/80cm is a bit of a struggle to see clearly, especially with my not so good eyesight.

I'm open to suggestions!
