AMD today released Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.3.2 Beta, its second significant driver release for this month. These drivers include heavier optimization for "Final Fantasy XV." This includes up to 4 percent higher frame-rates at 1080p compared to the older 18.3.1 drivers, when tested with a Radeon RX Vega 64; and up to 7 percent higher frame-rates at the same resolution, when tested with the RX 580 8 GB. It also fixes a stuttering issue noticed in the game, when rendering scenes with heavy particle effects. Grab the drivers from the link below.

The change-log follows.

Final Fantasy XV
  • Up to 4% faster performance playing Final Fantasy XV using Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.3.2 on the Radeon RX Vega 64 (8GB) graphics card than with Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.3.1 at 1920x1080 (1080p). RS-230
  • Up to 7% faster performance playing Final Fantasy XV using Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.3.2 on the Radeon RX 580 (8GB) graphics card than with Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.3.1 at 1920x1080 (1080p). RS-231
Fixed Issues
  • Final Fantasy XV may experience minor stutter during some particle effects.

Now if only a gamer could get the cards.

I dreamed of replacing my Fury with a Vega 56, dreaming is as close as I’ll ever get....

You probably can't even find RX 580s these days. I got mine a little while before they disappeared from most shelves... Last time I saw it, it was over 30% more expensive than when I bought it.

Well I could get a 580X at it’s ridiculous price but it’s not much of an upgrade over a Fury so for the stupid prices there really isn’t anything to actually upgrade too...

One could buy one of the top consoles and FFXV For less than a gpu which would run FFXV on PC with any eye candy turned on.

Already have both....

Been their tried that, i have a PS3 and i have used it for about 150 hours and it's been in it's box for years, been thinking if it's worth selling in fact but never get around to it.

Time to run the benchmark and see

... Congrats?
Nah it just still leaves me without an upgrade path...My PS4 is still just a Blu-Ray player/media server as my PS3 was. I did enjoy FFXV for awhile though

It sounds like they fixed the tesselation issue. It wasn't a "minor stutter" though. It rendered the battles next to unplayable if you don't disable the geomapping option.

I'd think it would be more of a downgrade, going from the Fury to the Rx 580...
