To celebrate the introduction of three new G-Master monitors and the new G-Master logo, iiyama launches a pan European competition where fans can win one of 10 brand new Black Hawk and Red Eagle monitors, or one of the hundred other prizes.

"We are extremely proud and thankful for the recognition the G-master #monitors4gamers have received since their first launch in autumn 2014. Just last year, over hundred thousand G-Master monitors have been chosen by gamers all over Europe. With the introduction of two new Black Hawk monitors and one Red Eagle - the first ones to carry the new G-Master logo - we want to invite G-master fans to take part in a special 'crack-the-code' competition and show how G-Master fans celebrate victory." - says Jeffry Pettinga, Sales Director Europe.

The new Black Hawk models are a 24.5'' G-Master GB2530HSU-B1 and a 27'' G-Master GB2730HSU-B1. Both offer a stunning 1ms response time and 75Hz refresh rate.

The new Red Eagle is a 24.5'' G-Master GB2560HSU-B1 with a 1ms response time and 144Hz refresh rate. The ideal gaming monitor for competitive PvP games such as COD and CS:GO.

All three models support FreeSync technology and come equipped with a height adjustable stand with pivot (screen rotation) function and blue light reducer function. The height-adjustable stands make it extremely easy to adjust the monitor's screen position to match the gamers preferences, while the blue light reducer function makes gaming far less tiring and easier on the eye. When gaming for longer hours both features substantially improve the comfort.

The new logo is inspired by the flag of iiyama in Japan. iiyama's home town where it all started in 1973.

The competition opened May 14th and runs for four weeks. Participants are given two tasks. The first task - cracking a binary code - is optional. The second - a creative assignment: "Show us how G-Masters celebrate victory" - is mandatory. Depending on the number of tasks completed, the participants can either win one of 5 new G-Master GB2530HSU-B1 Black Hawk's and 5 new G-Master GB2560HSU-B1 Red Eagle monitors or one of the other official G-Master merchandise prizes including: jackets, caps, T-shirts and mousepads.

To Crack the Code, please visit https://gmaster.iiyama.com/en.

Yeah, some really first-rate trolling on part of Iiyama there...

weather true or not but freesync needs a amd card cause that is part of there cards driver package . thing is like gstink you buy this monitor and if you got a amd card you got full function if you go NVidia your wasting your money like gstink needs a NVidia card to incorporate with the gstink part in the monitor .

so unless your a dedicated amd user only or a NVidia user only you may as well just buy a monitor without any of them gimmicks at there added cost to say it has it . [opinion ]

if I'm wrong on that post the article or link to the correct info .

here its claimed you could trick NVidia to use it ?

G-Master FreeSync Monitors

Eat that, gvidia!

Both offer a stunning 1ms response time and 75Hz refresh rate.
That stunning 75Hz refresh rate... a bit spoiled my "shutupandtakemymoney" mood.

This one looks good though:

What else did you expect could push 1ms response time? And don't say "a CRT" :p
Still, when I didn't do photo editing, I had no problem using TN. For gaming it's enough.

Umm, English would be nice...
Variable refresh rate is not a gimmick.

Enough...? TN has terrible image quality and viewing angles. I prefer my games RUN and LOOK good. They will never look good on 1080p TN. Never ever. It's for CS:GO etc. I use my PC for alot of different stuff and I would never accept a low-end 1080p TN panel.

If I could live with TN, I'd rather wait for the new 1440p/240Hz/0.5ms panels, which comes soon. 1080p is dead to me. I'd only accept that low res on a smartphone or small screen laptop (sub 14 inch).

Except that you don't look at games from an angle. Never ever. And if it's a fast paced title, there's a lot on the screen you don't notice anyway. But hey, if you can't live with TN-Film, then you can't live with TN-Film.

Pretty much all TN panels have color shifting even when moving the head in front + terrible black levels and worst contrast ratio of all panels. Image qualiy is really bad.

I'd only buy TN if the main purpose was fast paced competitive gaming, it sucks for pretty much everything else.

Do these exist? I mean, beyond MSI announcing some models, has anyone ever reviewed one of these and confirmed the 1ms response time claim?
(Plus, these all seem to be "just" FHD panels and if Iiyama sported them, you'd probably complain about the resolution)
