Hitmam was pretty decent so hopefully this one holds up

If I recall correctly this was announced June 8th for WB E3, upset some people who were hoping for another DC game.

This looks promising. More guns pls and I want the test chambers back to store all the firepower. Already spotted the trusty WA2000 and it is confirmed to be a single release instead of silly episodic content.

Also @Chino that response was hilarious

All 6 brothers appeared in this picture at the same time. Good job WB !

I actually posted the trailer in the Games section that day, I believe. Methinks the announcement is just a teensy bit late. :p

I didn't like the latest Hitman. The game is simply too loose about how you get detected. You can do all sorts of absolutely stupid things like go inside a room unauthorized countless times in front of an AI without consequenses. You have to be visible for something like 3 seconds before your intrusion is even investigated. You cannot adjust difficulty level, only couple things affect your overall score and the atmosphere is ruined because in every country you visit people speak completely fluent American English. I simply cannot believe they went with the last mentioned decision, since they have otherwise been so careful with the presentation.

Gameplay mechanics are okay, but there is no point to play since it's all about how creative murder you can pull off, rather than having an option to make the game more challenging. Hitman (2016) is not challenging at all and it is very boring and mundane to play. I hope the second one will be completely different.

EDIT. Such a shame that Squre Enix's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided didn't sell well, even though it was a very dynamic and intense game about being an agent. You can really play that game anyway you like and it has awesome graphics and good music. It probably failed with the profits because the story was incomplete. Now instead we get a sequel to this Hitman garbage that is not even worth mentioning. These days people don't want immersion or greatness, only something to laugh at.

Actually, I’m going to be open minded about this. IO Interactive now has their IP and game back, to make and publish how THEY want, not how a publisher wants.
