Alphacool today introduced a few new additions to their catalog of watercooling-related products, and this time, they've focused on adding RGB flairs to users' systems. The new Aurora XPX RGB-LED Frame is a product that attaches to your Alphacool CPU block. It's basically a plastic square that has an RGB strip inside it (which connects via a standard 4-pin male RGB connector), which lights up and illuminates the entirety of your block in an eerie, perfectly diffused hue. There are black and chrome finishes for your particular rig, and the frame goes for €19.79.

The second product Alphacool brought to the table is their Aurora HardTube RGB-LED Ring, which can be used between sections of your hardtubes to change lighting at will. Like the Aurora Frame, these are available in pure black and chrome finishes, in 13 or 16 mm diameters. The connection is made via a 4-pin male RGB connector. The ring itself is made of pure brass. Inside the ring are 3 RGB LEDs and two O-rings. The O-rings are used to hold the Aurora HardTube RGB LED ring in its desired position and to prevent scratches when passing over the HardTubes. and go for €12,89.

Almost reached RGB critical mass with those connectors...:wtf:

At least they're not charging $50 for $5 worth of parts like EK does.

Almost reached RGB critical mass with those connectors...:wtf:

TT has been doing this for a long time already. Only bit that is newsworthy is that Alphacool fallen to RGB.

The hapless RGB geeks who buy these will spend hours trying to hide a dozen more little black wires, and their rigs will end up looking like a meth-crazed spider on acid got loose inside.

What's the point in making any rgb/led product with analog leds instead of digital/addressable when they're essentially the same price?

RGB-LED Ring
The latest jewelry craze?

Lol this is getting hilarious
