NVIDIA debuted its R399 series of GeForce software, which could be its final sequence before GeForce RTX family of graphics cards are released to market, likely accompanied by a new series of GeForce software (likely R400 series?). Version 399.07 WHQL is "Game Ready" for "Battlefield V Open Beta," F1 2018, "Immortal: Unchained," Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, "Strange Brigade," and "Switchblade." The drivers also add SLI profiles for F1 2018 and "Immortal: Unchained."

GeForce 399.07 WHQL addresses a number of bugs, including blurry screen noticed on "Rainbow Six: Siege" with TAA dialed up to 100%; diagonal screen-tearing on notebooks with MSHybrid; incorrect OpenGL rendering context on GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1070; missing textures in "Doom" (2016) with the Vulkan renderer; random BSODs on Oculus VR software; stability issues with "LA Noire VR," and stuttering in some exotic configurations on "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4." A key bug with G-Sync stuttering on machines upgrading to Windows 10 1803 has also been fixed. Grab the driver from the link below.

If NVIDIA doesn't release new NV Control Panel for RTX cards and for ForceWare 400, I'll be greatly dissapointed. They have a great opportunity to update that archaic thing now.

The thing is, it doesn't work. It's an ugly, glitchy, broken mess that's just terrible to use. Takes ages to open, everything flickers when you apply things likeit's about to collapse onto itself, when you're selecting settings, lists are resetting back to top, and it has been this way for months and years, literally like someone just plain doesn't give a F about the state and quality of the software that's accompanying products costing 800€ and beyond. But people are just fine with it for some dumb idiotic reason.

Yes, and if they make it open in a fraction of a second, you'll complain it uses too much RAM. (Never seen any of the other problems)

Yeah, sure I'd complain over RAM usage, because that's something I haven't even looked at for like more than 15 years...

And you've probably never seen any of the other problems because you think such behavior is normal for an interface apparently...

I'm actually pretty thorough when it comes to UIs, but this one I'm using once in a blue moon.

I was fiddling quite a lot with it for Fast and Adaptive V-Sync and DSR and basically gave up because it's so damn slow and glitchy. When you run new Radeon Crimson panel, it's like you've traveled in distant future...

Takes just under six seconds on my laptop to open ;)

As I said, ages to open, considering such panel has no right to be opening that god damn long. We're talking hexa core, 32GB RAM and freaking fastst SATA SSD money can buy. And it takes that long. It's absurd. Crimson panel takes 1 second on that AMD A9 laptop with 4GB RAM and mid end SSD. Let that sink in.

Just use the mindset "slow and careful" and it will be allright.
